July
In July we visited Wildside garden near Yelverton.
We were all a bit concerned after the extended dry spell just how the garden would look, Wildside never disappoints, it was still a real pleasure to visit. The Mediterranean part of the garden was the most colourful, it made us realise we should probably be planting similar at home.
After a lovely 2 hour stroll we took ourselves off to a tasty lunch at Yelverton golf club .
June
Lukesland Gardens, Ivybridge
On a very damp June morning a few of us braved the weather to visit this lovely garden.
After a warming cup of coffee we started our walk. It was a bit wet underfoot but the forecast was brighter late morning. We enjoyed our stroll through the beautiful garden and then met for a warming lunch in the cafe where they kindly lit the fire for us.

At the end of April a group of us visited Buckfast Abbey, the weather was a bit drizzly but we did not let that stop us from having a good wander around the gardens, a coffee in the entrance cafe , a lovely wander inside the beautiful Abbey and to finish off, lunch in the restaurant and a look in the exhibition on the way out.

Early April
Today we went to Tulipfest at Strawberry Fields, Lifton. The sun was shining and we just had a wonderful morning walking among the beautiful flowers, it is such a well presented festival with lots to see and do and plenty of photo opportunities. We had a tasty lunch in the Garden room and then a browse in the farm shop. A really lovely day out.
March
On the 18th of March a few of us had a delightful visit to Buckland Abbey near Yelverton. After a warming cup of coffee we set off for a nice walk in the spring sunshine. The magnolias and camellias were a sight to behold down by the cider orchard.
After this we headed back to the cafe for lunch and a browse in the book stalls.
